Cecil Peak Heli Elopement | Emma + Sam

QUEENSTOWN, nEW ZEALAND

Emma and Sam’s story kicked off way back at a 13th birthday party, but fate clearly had more in store—they crossed paths again a few years later, and the rest, as they say, was history. Fast forward to now, and these two flew over from Australia, set on eloping at Queenstown’s most iconic wedding spot, Cecil Peak!

Nature, however, decided to throw us a curveball with a fresh dump of snow and an incoming storm on their original date. So, with barely 24 hours' notice, we moved the entire elopement up by a day! Huge shoutout to my amazing team of vendors for making it all happen!

After getting ready at their cozy A-frame in the CBD, Emma and Sam hopped into a Heli and flew up to the mountain, where they exchanged vows that even brought Sam to tears. They cracked open some champagne to stay warm in the snow (which, funnily enough, was Emma’s first time seeing it!).

To end the day, we snuck off for a sweet little picnic in the fields—a perfect end to their adventure!
