Queenstown Heli Elopement | Jo + DUNCAN

QUEENSTOWN, nEW ZEALAND

Jo and Duncan’s plans ditched the big Aussie wedding to keep things simple and meaningful with an intimate celebration in Queenstown. It was the perfect way to focus on what mattered most—family, connection, and creating memories!

The day began at Castle Cliff Lodge, where Jo and Duncan got ready overlooking Lake Wakatipu. It's modern decor and calm atmosphere set the tone, while Duncan’s mum lent a hand in getting him ready.

Coronet Peak was the spot we had planned together, setting up the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. Jo’s dad, who traveled all the way from the UK, walked her down the aisle—a moment she’d always dreamed of. After the ceremony, they shared a warm moment with hot cocoa (a family tradition) and included Jo’s mum and Duncan’s sister via FaceTime, so no one missed out.

And, of course, the bubbly flowed before the heli adventure to the Remarkables. Jo and Duncan let their adventurous side loose, dancing and taking in the snow-capped peaks. The dramatic scenery gave them the chance to soak in those just-married feels and create some unforgettable mems!
